Housing Rehabilitation Program

The Community and Economic Development Department is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for the City of Highland Park's Housing Rehabilitation Program. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), under the direction of Wayne County. Applications are first come, first served. You must be the homeowner, low-income, and the home must be insured to qualify. If your home is not currently insured but you qualify for the program, we may have an option that can help you.

This program will cover numerous repairs for low to moderate income homeowners, including but not limited to: roofs, gutters, furnaces, hot water tanks, porch improvements, windows, plumbing, electrical, siding and code enforcement violation corrections.
